IOSH Managing Safely – Refresher

The IOSH Managing Safely Refresher course is a 1ay course and is for learners who have already undertaken the IOSH Managing Safely course.  This course covers the principles of health and safety management and how they should be applied in the workplace. It ensures delegates remain up to date with recent changes to health & safety law, best practice and current approaches to health and safety management.

Managers and supervisors who are responsible for managing risk.

• Legal and best practice update – review of the roles and responsibilities for managers
• Managing work related risks – a review of the risk assessment process, making risk assessments useful
• H&S monitoring – active v proactive
• Effective investigations of incidents
• Managing topical issues: fire risks, working at height, asbestos, stress, driving/travel for work
