Job Title: Business Administrator

Full time (37.5 hours per week) Permanent

Location: Sentinel House, Bromsgrove, B60 4DJ

Salary/Package: £22k – £27k per annum plus benefits

We have also developed SafetyBox, our highly-rated cloud based risk management software. We are continuing to grow and this is where you come in.

Business Administrator Role:

  • Provide administration support to consultants, including organising meetings/site audits, typing reports and proofreading
  • Management of diary/scheduler to arrange visits to clients
  • Dealing with all incoming/outgoing post and management of office supplies
  • Booking training courses/preparation of training materials for clients, arranging designated trainers and preparation of materials
  • Provide ‘front of house’ image for all visitors, prepare drinks and order other refreshments
  • Handle telephone/website enquiries promptly and liaise with clients
  • Generate and send invoices via Xero, query via telephone all unpaid invoices and operate basic credit control. Ensure all invoices for each VAT quarter are ready for inspection for the book keeper
  • Liaise with existing client base to maintain positive business relationships
  • Ensure all documents, letters and invoices are filed and managed effectively
  • Manage own time effectively and prioritise workload
  • Ensuring good working practices and provide excellent customer service. Maintain confidentiality on behalf of the company at all times
  • Participate in team meetings and take minutes

About You:

  • Experience within an administration role (minimum 2 years)
  • IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook to Intermediate level. Knowledge of MailChimp (desirable)
  • Excellent literacy/numeracy skills, attention to detail and ability to communicate at all levels
  • Basic knowledge of accounts. Experience of Xero accounting software (desirable)
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work on own initiative with a certain amount of autonomy and be good team player
  • Friendly personality and professional appearance
  • Willing to participate in developmental training programmes
  • Willingness to be flexible with working hours occasionally
  • Qualification in Business Administration (desirable)
