Sentinel client awarded SAFEcontractor accreditation

Sentinel Safety Solutions have helped  Bromsgrove-based company DeepClean Hygiene Solutions to achieve the SAFEcontractor accreditation.

SAFEcontractor is an accreditation scheme that assesses the health & safety competency of contractors and service providers.

 Managing Director of DeepClean, Tony Waghorn is delighted with the accreditation, and grateful to Sentinel Safety for their assistance in helping to acheive it. "We have forged a strong relationship with Sentinel Safety Solutions over the last few years, and there is no doubt that the systems and procedures that we have in place as a result of this work, helped towards achieving this accreditation."

Sentinel Supports local Charity
Sentinel has supported Primrose Hospice for a number of years. Primrose is a Bromsgrove based registered charity, which cares for cancer patients and their families. Sentinel has both sponsored the newsletter, Primrose Eye and obtained our christmas cards to benefit the charity. We will continue to support Primrose into the future.

Sentinel Director provides sound advice at insurance seminar
Himmat Rai, Director of Sentinel Safety recently presented a seminar on Product Liability and Product Recall at Cambridge University. The event was organised by Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance a leading insurance company. Himmat was one of several speakers and he strongly encouraged food manufacturers to consider specialist insurance products to cover the cost of product recalls.

Himmat Rai, addressed H&S practitioners on business continuity. During a very interesting day of presentations, Himmat presented a paper on the Prevention and Control of Food Emergencies.
