The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
came into force from October 2006. This introduces major
changes to fire safety legislation and places duties
on the Responsible Person. One of the most significant
changes is that the onus for ensuring fire safety now
clearly rests with the Responsible Person and includes
the requirement to conduct a fire risk assessment. For
